All hail Sledger!

SportGuru's World Cup champion is a founding guru, Sledger. He was followed up by Stoner67 in second and Tep in third. Well done to all!

Sledger (a.k.a. Pete Roberts) is a founding guru: one of the players to join SportGuru in its first month. And it shouldn't come as a surprise that he took the top spot in the World Cup - his honours board lists top 100 finishes in our World T20 and Guinness Premiership games, which both ended a few months ago.

Sledger had an overall accuracy of 65% in what was a very difficult tournament to predict. He scored a total of 69.25 points on the global leaderboard (48 Win Point + 21.25 Margin Points).

Our runner-up, Stoner67 actually narrowly edged Sledger on Win Points (Stoner67 bagged 48.5) but didn't quite have the same Margin Point performance. He totalled 69 points.

Tep, in third, brought home 68.25 points.

Remember that Bonus Points are excluded from global standings and apply in your pools only.
